What Christmas Is Not
Updated: Nov 28, 2022
Here we go with that same lame "most wonderful time of the year" crap! When will people ever realize this has nothing to do with religion or Jesus Christ? The connection to Christ was made by, of all organizations you can imagine, the antichrist. Catholicism! The celebration of the solstices and their relationship to the false gods they worshiped were masked with false Christianity to make it appear that it was something sacred and holy. It is, in fact, defamation of the true meaning and name of Christianity.
Not only is it a Catholic holiday built upon a fallacy, but also an unequivocally commercialized, hedonistic celebration that has nothing to do with the day Christ Jesus was born. Nobody can even GUESS when he was born, let alone place his birth somewhere in the middle of winter, which historical writing proves is not the case.
Early Christians did not celebrate birthdays celebrations. Such celebrations were considered pagan. (Christmas | Origin, Definition, Traditions, History, & Facts | Britannica https://www.britannica.com/topic/Christmas) Consequently, neither Jesus Christ nor His disciples would consider such a ridiculous notion in regard to our Saviour and King.
As you will see should you bother to read the material provided by Britannica and so many other sources, the exact date of Christ's birth is entirely unknown.
In fact, like all things Catholic, it was made up over time to incorporate pagan traditions into Christianity and thereby corrupt the very foundations of true Christianity.
Satan is duty-bound to besmirch the name of Jesus Christ and belittle him as much as possible.
Have you ever really thought about what you're reading?
For example, the SECOND CHAPTER OF MATTHEW - i.e., often referred to as "The Christmas Story," and if you are interested in TRUTH, this should help.
Taken from the Berean Study Bible (Par ▾)
Here it begins with what the Church refers to as "the Pilgrimage of the Magi." (Micah 5:1–6) These verses of Micah, of course, are a prophecy of where Christ will be born.
1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi (Magicians, Sorcerers...NOT KINGS: most likely priests in Zoroastrianism.) from the east arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 “Where is the One who has been born King of the Jews? [NOTE: They refer to Jesus as "King of the Jews."] We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”
Now use your mind, not your emotional heart.
"His" 'star' appears to three sorcerers (practicers of magic that God condemns). Why not instead, to a prominent religious leader, a believer, one who will protect the child?
"His" star then leads them to the Messiah Jesus Christ, a location once found was to be reported back to the reigning "King of the Jews," i.e., then known as Herod The Great.
3 When King Herod heard this, he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had assembled all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: 6 ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of My people Israel.'
(Who was Herod) Reading this history, you will see that King Herod was more than a little disturbed by the birth of Jesus.
So, then, what happens next?
7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and learned from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8 And sending them to Bethlehem, he said: “Go and search carefully for the Child, and when you find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.”
This, then, raises more questions, does it not?
The "star" appears to three Zoroastrian sorcerers instead of the Chief Priest or others who are awaiting the Messiah. The Zoroastrians, then, instead of telling the Jews or other believers who were awaiting their Messiah, the Zoroatrian's go to the one person whom they knew would be insanely jealous when hearing this report of a "new King of the Jews."
9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stood over the place where the Child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with great delight. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother, Mary, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and frankincense, and myrrh.
Emotion aside: What was the 'intention' of the King? Did he wish to "worship" the child? Did he desire a "new king" to take his place?
12 And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they withdrew to their country by another route. 13 When the Magi had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.” (Hosea 11:1–7)
This light in the sky (a supposed star) moved! It moved until it stopped above where the child was housed. Use you mind, not your emotion!
Try this: Go outside tonight, find the BRIGHTEST star in the sky, and then move toward it. Keep going until you find what is DIRECTLY beneath it! It will never happen, will it? So obviously, the light could not be "a star" but some other source.
So, after all this effort to find the child, an angel appears. Satan has done his best to lead Herod to where the child is so that it can be murdered, and an angel appears to Joseph and tells him to flee the area.
14 So he got up, took the Child and His mother by night, and withdrew to Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod.
This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.” Weeping and Great Mourning (Jeremiah 31:1–25) 16 When Herod saw that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was filled with rage.
Sending orders, he put to death all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, according to the time he had learned from the Magi. 17 Then what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: 18 “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and refusing to be comforted because they are no more.”
See (Luke 2:39–40) For more details of the story.
The star of so many "Christmas" songs and the "three kings" were NOT FROM GOD. Satan wanted Christ dead, and Herod tried his best to see that happen.
The Roman Church concocted this holiday to continue their worship of their SUN God of the Winter solstice, Sol, during their Sol Invictus. Now Satan has Christians and others doing the same thing in the Name of Christ.
But, Jesus warned in Matthew, Chapter 7:
15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits, you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits you will recognize those men. 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name? 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’"
Their continued pretense of owning the Kingdom of God will cause them, and all of the so-called Christian churches that follow their pretentious teachings, to be judged accordingly.
Hebrews 10:30, 31, —"30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
