THE POWER OF GREED
Life is a collection of illusions that we call memories and we put them together, whether consciously or subconsciously, to formulate our present.
We believe what we want to believe, not necessarily what we should believe, and because it contains some good, we feel that God loves us for doing so.
It makes me shiver to watch a proclaimed Muslim string his house with Christmas ornaments or to see a Christian pledge allegiance to a flag and country.
My sadness over the condition of the World is overwhelming; billions have died, and billions more will follow, and to what end?
For no other reason, than to satisfy the needs of the power-hungry, i.e., the nations of egoists and self-proclaimed righteous who wield the power of greed and call it the power of God.
